Violet Burns has been planning and managing events for the past eight years. Her work has ranged from meetings and symposiums, to weddings, tournaments, and large scale productions. She enjoys working behind the scenes to create seamless productions for her clients. Her talent lies in being creative, organized, detail oriented, and an excellent communicator. Clients and service providers alike praise Violet for being easy to work with, identifying potential barriers to success, and always maintaining a positive and calm demeanor even under tremendous pressure. When asked why she has chosen event planning as her life’s work, she replied that she loves working with people, seeing a project come together, and doing all she can to exceed a client’s expectations. “I find this type of work both fun and challenging and it makes me happy to get up in the morning.”

In 2006 Violet started her event planning and management company, Events by Vi, in response to the many clients and friends who encouraged her to do so. “Having my own company allows me to provide clients with a menu of services including budget planning, consulting, venue selection, creative needs, and on-site management. It gives me the ability to work with a client right from the point of conception and see them through to the end.” As for the future? Violet plans to continue giving her clients all that her talent has to offer and being the difference between good and great.
